A transition era GD tunic
The Wachregiment Berlin was the embryo of the Grossdeutschland. This tunic shows the original Stamps from the WachR. and the added clothing label as the 5th Company of the Wachr. was named Inf Regt Grossdeutschland. The jacket must have been retired before the GD Cufftittle was introduced, and long before the "W" on the shoulder boards were replaced with the "GD"

Front and back
A text book pair. Other than the fact they come out of the village where I live I like the fact that they are a text book perfect pair. No "late war" "modified" "washed in modern detergnt" etc
